How to Use
- Open a new copy of this template for each contract you audit.
- Fill the Value column from the contract PDF.
- Any blank Value flags MISSING in Status. Fix by either (a) finding the info in the contract or (b) flagging with counterparty.
- Completeness score below 90% = don’t file yet.

Common Pitfalls
- Effective ≠ signature date. Avails windows start on effective. Missing effective = wrong avails.
- Free-text territory. “Europe” is not a territory. Use ISO α-2 or IFTA groups.
- Royalty split as prose. “50/50 after recoupment” isn’t machine-readable. Capture trigger + rate as two fields.
